About Suzanne

I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who has been in practice since 2001. After receiving my Bachelor of Science from McMaster University, my interest in health, nutrition and herbal medicine led me to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). As a lifelong learner, I continually seek to expand my knowledge about complex digestive disorders, the gut microbiome and new research about natural therapies.

I am a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in north Toronto. I now live in the High Park area with my husband and three children.

For the past decade, I have been managing rheumatoid arthritis with a combination of medication and natural therapies such as dietary changes, herbs and nutritional supplements. This combination has enabled me to remain active and pain free. This personal experience allows me to bring a deeper understanding of how your health concerns affect your life and I bring this empathy to my naturopathic practice.

In my spare time, I enjoy drinking good coffee, making delicious food, gardening, downhill skiing, backcountry camping, and white water canoeing.

How is Suzanne different?

Your appointments give you enough time to thoroughly discuss all of your health concerns and explore the physical, emotional, lifestyle and genetic factors that play a role in how your body reacts to the world around you.

I spend time with you to explain how your body works, which includes explaining what lab tests mean.

All this information is used to design a personalized plan of treatment that addresses the root causes of concerns to resolve issues for good. These treatment options are discussed with you so that you make an informed decision about realistic and do-able next steps. My goal is to educate and empower you.

I have your best interests in mind and will work with other professionals in your health care team. This may mean referrals  to other practitioners, such as medical doctors, chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and midwives.

No referral is necessary to see Suzanne.

For your convenience you can book an appointment online.
