Clinical nutrition: Examines the relationship between food intake and health. Specific dietary improvements may be recommended, and treatment may include taking nutritional supplements such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids, and probiotics.
Botanical medicine: Plant substances are prescribed for their healing properties and their ability to address many health issues simultaneously. The use of plants for healing is the foundation of modern pharmacology.
Homeopathic medicine: Based on the principle of “like cures like”, tiny amounts of natural substances are used to stimulate the body to heal itself.
Acupuncture: Based on a tongue and pulse assessment, acupuncture is used to restore the proper flow of energy (qi) that flows in channels (meridians) throughout the body and over its surfaces, thus stimulating healthy function of organs and tissues.
Physical medicine: Exercise, massage, and water are used as therapies for bones and muscles.
Lifestyle counselling: Identifies physical, emotional, nutritional and environmental factors that impact health so that changes can be made to for a healthy lifestyle.
